Grover Sparkman, President
Grover 
is a co-founder of Fairfield Financial. He has served for more than 40 years in the real estate business in the Pacific Northwest. He has functioned as a Realtor, a Real Estate Broker, an Appraiser, and a Private Money Loan Broker. He remains very active in the business, and is often sought out for his wealth of information by those within Fairfield Financial as well as our clients.
Louise Sparkman, Secretary/Treasurer
Louise 
is a co-founder of Fairfield Financial. She served in a multitude of capacities for the company for nearly 36 years, including accounting, reception, and office management. She retired from these responsibilities in 1998, but continues to serve as an officer of the corporation, and often participates in making strategic business decisions.
S. Clay Sparkman, Vice President
Clay 
is Vice President of Fairfield Financial. He has been brokering private money loan transactions since 1992. He holds an MBA degree from Portland State University and a BS in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Oregon. He manages the operation of the west-side office, is a key strategist in overall company direction, and continues to coordinate loans.
Jennifer Lindsey, Operations Manager
Jennifer 
Jennifer is Fairfield Financial’s Operations Manager. She joined Fairfield in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant. Jennifer brought with her a varied background from Head of Receiving at a large corporation to Massage Therapy at a small spa. Ever expanding her knowledge and abilities, she has enjoyed working with and in all of the different departments at Fairfield.
Richard Sundvall, Account Executive
Richard brings his 26 years of experience to bear at Fairfield as an entrepreneur in such various fields as direct mail, music, publishing and radio and television. He started his first company when he was only 18 years old and has been going strong ever since. He’s always had an interest in the real estate market and finally found a home at Fairfield Financial to pursue that interest with a passion. 10 years ago Richard escaped the harsh winters of northern Minnesota to the balmy climate of the Pacific Northwest (he says that every winter he feels like he’s getting away with something!). He has two bright and beautiful children, Brent ‘Double B’, 12 and Lauren ‘JP’ 9. He also has a gorgeous sweetheart who hails from Russia (as he says, to the victor go the spoils!).
Sarah Corbin, Executive Assistant
Sarah 
has a background in commercial line-of-credit lending, where she managed up to $600 million in assets for a large commercial banker. Prior to that, she worked in the equipment lending industry. She excelled in these two positions, and was inspired to pursue a degree in financial accounting. With a desire for new challenges, Sarah joined Fairfield Financial in Spring of 2002, where she excelled in her role as Executive Assistant.
Elaine Pries, Collection Accounts Administrator
Elaine 
grew up in the Portland area, where she attended classes in accounting, art and English through Portland State University and Portland Community College. She has worked in accounting for the last 25 years, during the last 10 of which she was a financial manager for a non-profit company. After spending one year in Kansas recently, Elaine returned to Portland and joined Fairfield to manage all aspects of accounting for the company.
Melissa Harvey, Receptionist
Melissa hails from Missouri, where she was a 2000 honors diploma graduate of Skyline High School. She worked for 4 years in the retail sales field with PacSun and Quiksilver, before deciding to use her inherent administrative skills to broaden her career field. Recently married, she moved to Portland to be near her husband's family. Melissa was born in Seoul, South Korea, where her mother worked for the US Government and has traveled extensively in the Far East and Europe. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at Clackamas Community College.
